LogPill ("we", "our", or "the app") is a medication tracking and reminder application. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled when you use LogPill on iOS and Android devices. LogPill is a fully local application — all your data is stored on your device and is never collected or transmitted to external servers.

1. Data Stored on Your Device

LogPill stores the following data locally on your device, all provided directly by you:

  • Medication Information: Medication names, dosage amounts, forms (pill, tablet, injection, drops), frequencies, and schedules.
  • Dose Logs: Records of when you take, skip, or miss a dose, including timestamps and optional notes.
  • App Preferences: Notification settings, theme preferences, language selection.

2. How Your Data Is Used

All your data remains on your device and is used locally to power the following features:

  • Sending medication reminders at your scheduled times.
  • Tracking your medication adherence and dose history.
  • Displaying personal analytics (streaks, adherence rates, timing patterns).
  • Providing safety alerts when dosage limits may be exceeded.
  • Your data never leaves your device. We do not sell, rent, or share any personal data with third parties.

3. Data Storage & Security

All your medication data is stored locally on your device in an encrypted database. No data is transmitted to external servers. The app is fully functional offline.

4. Permissions

LogPill requests the following device permissions, all of which are optional:

  • Notifications: To send medication reminders at scheduled times.

5. Health-Related Data

LogPill stores medication-related data on your device that may be considered health information. This data never leaves your device:

  • Your medication data is never shared with third parties for research, advertising, or data mining.
  • All data processing occurs on your device.
  • We do not use your health data for user profiling or tracking.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

  • Local Data: Stored on your device until you uninstall the app or manually delete your data through your device's app settings.
  • Deletion: You can delete all your data by uninstalling the app or clearing the app's data from your device settings.

7. Children's Privacy

LogPill is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with data, please contact us to have it removed.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data.
  • Export your data in a portable format.
